I have to tell you my son is not very car crazy but my 2 yr old grandson hasnt seen the GTA but in my altima he always wants to sit in it..he calls it zoom zoom... cant wait for June when I get my baby out of storage and off to some car shows..lol he will get a kick out of it i am sure.. very car crazy. i put up a racing steering wheel from my PC onto a low coffee table and he pretends to drive that table all the time.. sometimes it is in their blood!
Here is an oldie but a goodie, this is about 2002 I think?
I'm on the left next to my 92 GTA, AmorgetRS is on the right. This is the day he bought the 91 GTA that's in the middle of the pic from me (well, the day he picked it up). The 84 15th on the right was mine too at the time.
Doug, whatever happened to that 91 GTA? I recall you put a turbo on it right?
Another wedding photo. Wife on the car pic a page back was interesting..but my wife knows sitting on the car's a no-no. Photographer was pushing his luck asking me to lean on it in a different photo
One more. Thought the pose was ..silly, but the car looked good. ;-)
Mine's in my Sig. This was the day that the 3.4 was finally in the car, and I was in the middle of hooking up wiring, hoses, etc.. https://www.thirdgen.org/g/picture/3035522

Reason: added bigger version of pic.
Man people don't do this near enough today. Back in the old days ('50s-'80s) people got their pictures taken with their cars all the time. Even boring cars. Now people just take pictures of the car.

I seem to be on the older end of spectrum. The last 3rd gen (A Camaro) I saw going down the road, had a young driver behind the wheel. It made me smile.
For all those who cry about the value of our cars, if young people don't love them like us older owners, they will never rise in price.
And to the younger owners, welcome to the addiction. Several have tried to break their addiction, but the cars always call you back, and make you want MORE!!!

I want to stay on topic but I have to reply.. no.. having the younger generation does not drive up prices. its us old farts that do.. how many 1st gens do you see in the hands of the youngers? none I bet thats because what drives up prices is retirees wanting something from their youth! they have the cash and no kids in college anymore so they look for the toy.. some start younger (read **me**) and get the cars before the values go up.. happened to the secondgens and soon will be our turn. if you were in HS when these were new then you may be a candidate to own one when you retire.

I am just so happy that I was old enough to browse the Pontiac/Chevrolet lots back in the day and test drive and have my pick or to order one!
