Welcome yungun! Nice ride
ahh to be 17 again with a hot ride. those were the days man. those were the days.. enjoy them while they last. soon enuf you will be selling it cause your honey doesnt like a loud fast car and it doesnt work with the car seats or your need the money etc etc etc.. lol
Take our advice here as well - In such a case, get rid of the girl & save the car - it will cost you less! Women, like tires, work best when they are rotated often!

Haha 😄 I appreciate the advice. Also good metaphor.

LOL!
On the other hand, if your woman respects your car AND the money you put into it and doesn't get jealous because you treat her right sometimes, you've found yourself a winner! The car, on the other hand, truly gets abused!
I'm an old auto tech though, so I have an excuse to pour resources into my 2nd '86 Camaro. This one's an IROC. The one I've always wanted over 20 years ago (unattainable back then) and she understands.

My wife kind of understands but if I wanted a stable full no way but she realizes my love for my car and since she loves me is starting to accept the car.

not the meanest, but also not the nicest thing I've ever read on here.
Respect goes both ways, and if you say things like that around any women then it's no wonder that they put themselves against your cars.
I'm glad to see a few youngsters picking up these cars, makes me smile and remember a time when I was a youngster.
Enjoy it while you can, it goes waaaay to fast.

Awwh, come on PurelyPMD, we all aren't bad. There are a few of us girls on here that actually like the cars (and appreciate that our men keep them running well for us).
My advice to the young uns-find a GF that likes cars-that way everyone is happy.

Well said Kymmee! Although my wife hates my car with a passion (because I clean it more than her car, it costs money when it breaks, and so on and so on...) she knows how much I love that car and wouldn't ever make me get rid of it. She made me sell my first red 86 IROC and I made her know how much it pissed me off...it was my first car I bought in high school. I miss that car, but the blue one is way more fun. I do let her drive it occasionally...very occasionally, and with me in the passenger seat. Lol

Damn, I forget we have women with white Formulas on this board.
The comment was in jest - but in jest there is truth. Too many of the guys out there & on here have to get permission to spend their money on a car. I know when you are in a relationship, there is give & take, but I've seen it far too many times - I was one of those guys....once!
To be good partners, you don't need to love exactly the same things - you do however have to understand that each of you have interests, and to be happy, you need to be able to pursue them.
Man I'm sooooo glad mine loves 3rd gens. Never bit**ed once! She claimed the last one we bought, she said "this ones mine"! (the 85)
she has good taste shes a keeper both of them...

It often is - how could you possibly love something else, does that mean you love it more than me? It can also be a control issue.
....but we are way off topic - sorry about the joke & the diversion.

true...i think it can be a little of both...
but I am the OP so I didn't mind the diversion. sorry Kymee
but yeah.. on to the topic! more pics guys and gals!
IDK....Probably a exhaust PAS had "laying around" while they were getting this program together for the 89 TTA. All of the TTA's from factory had dual twin chrome tips, angled down slightly.

yeah I always liked the TTA tips but I think straight out the back looks so much better
Still no pics of me with the T/A I really need to get one. But I did get a pic of my fiancee with the car on Friday at our local cruise night. First time I actually took the car into a show too:
