Here are a few pics of my RS with my new ASCD SS hood. The hood fits great and I have to say that ASCD makes one of highest quality fiberglass hoods I've seen. I have a Harwood on my 82 Z28, and it required a LOT of trimming and tweaking to get right, and it still has a bigger than desirable between the hood and the nose. I made the grille insert for my hood out of a peice of perforated stainless steel that I polished with a buffing wheel. It looks much better in person than the pics show. I didn't worry about painting the hood yet, bacause I'm going to change the GFX and rear spoiler w/ ones from a 91 Z28, and, hopefully by March it will be wearing a nice shiny coat of Sebring Silver Met. paint.

Looks pretty good. The grille insert looks pretty sweet as well. I always liked that hood.

Looks good! I am goin' to get one of those hoods eventually for my car too. Was that scoop open when you bought the hood or did you have to cut it out? Could you post a pic of the underside of the hood too?

They are SEC Racing Wheels, and are 17", but SEC went out of business....Maybe you could find some used, but there are a few more people that are looking for them, without any success as of yet. They were pretty expensive though, rear 17 X 12"s were $359.99 each, and the front 17 X 9.5"s were $329.99 each when they were new. Here's a few mores pics and there are several more on my site.

Man,my SS hood didn't come with that type of grille.Mine was more like the grille that come on the back of the Harwood cowl hoods.I like the one you have.Looks good.
