It's been a fantastic fall driving season here in Wisconsin, including this first week of November where the temps have been in the 70's whereas the average high for this time of year is 49 degrees. Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and winter will catch up to us sooner or later.

My 1988 Trans Am is no "snowbird", so it's time for this bird to "fly south" for the winter. This Saturday morning I will be driving about 15 miles to the indoor storage facility where I store my TA for the winter. I imagine most of you in the northern climates will be doing the same thing soon if you haven't already. It is a bummer to put the car away; however, it makes for some fun and excitement when you pull it out in the spring.

Fortunately I was able to get out a couple of weeks ago and take some fall photos as I hadn't done this for two years. A few were posted under this tread: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...pics-your.html but I thought I'd post a couple more just for fun.

Since we are only 90 miles apart (Elgin, IL), I can tell you the cold weather should be coming tomorrow.

 

You're right. My weather app says 48 but sunny Saturday. Not bad for this time of year, but time to get the TA put away.
