This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 10 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. Cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.
Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car.
Do not nominate more than one car.
Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car or to nominate multiple cars.
This is not a picture thread. Post only one (1) good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use a photo-edited picture.
You must post a picture with your nomination. This must be a full-sized picture (or at the very least, a pic or thumb that enlarges into a full-sized picture when you click on it).
Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.
Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.
Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album.)
*****This Month's Criteria*****
Open Season: This is the last COTM of 2015. This will also probably be the last "Open Season" in a while. For 2016 I want to try out another member's suggestion (sorry, can't remember if it was Bob88GTA, or IMissMy86TA, or who it was exactly), but the suggestion is that we try to compartmentalize each month's criteria (typically by trim): like a base model month, an IROC month, a Formula month, and so forth. Hopefully, this will add a new and interesting twist for members (and COTM Editor).
This month though, is Open Season. Any stock or modified Firebird or Camaro that is in a high quality, finished state can be nominated this month.
Editor's Note: Don't forget to check out the "COTM Bait Thread" located in the "sticky" section of this forum. This is by no means the only place to look, but there are some choice Third Gens located there.

"I actually would like to see a convertible month, a IROC month, a GTA month, a formula month a RS month etc, High milage month low milage month best 5 speed, t-tops only, coupes only.. I would like to see the best in each category which would come with bragging rights. I know I would not win as there are better cars but I think it it would be great for those that do"

there are so many worthy cars in that COTM Bait Thread (sticky on this forum). i wish i could nominate them all, but fear not, people, we will get to you.
for this month, since i can only nominate one, it seemed like it would be kind of a shame not to have akanitro's 1988 GTA in the mix.

Thanks for the nomination. Since that pic I have Finalized the Look of the car(colorsand, 2 step, and flightshield) and put the new c7 brakes on the front. The gauge overlays I got on ebay, and have not been able to find them since, I would buy a spare if I see them again they are pretty awesome. the oil and water gauges are glowshifts.
