I'm buying a red 90 Formula roller that needs some paint. I've owned nothing but red cars and want something different. I'm basically stuck between a few colors. I've always liked the green 91-92 cars, but prefer the 87-90 front end. Has anyone painted an 87-90 firebird that color green? I'm not sure how the black plastic guards will look with that green. The wheels will be 17x9 GTA lace wheels.

The black plastic bumperettes were one of the ugliest features of the 3rd gens. The 91-92 nose took the car back to the 77-78 Banshee era. My two cents, but we all have our own opinions. Having said that, has anyone removed those strips and filled in the bumper to make it flush and have photos of the work?
