Look inside ..T-top car to Convertible กกก
Hi guys i was wondreing this
Most of the people have asked this
what if i convert my Hardtop to a Ttop car ?and obviusly the car will loss the rigidity and stability
Well i was thinking this as an idea :
If i have a Ttop car and i buy a wrecked convertible
can i make a good conversion ??
will this affect the stability ? i mean ..cut the sail panels and pull off the hatch and install all the convertible stuff on it
Anyone has done this before ???

Yeah, you can do that, but there are a lot of parts that are welded on that you will have to remove and use on your car. A lot of work from what I hear. Then there is the underbody. You'll have to decide if the convertible underbracing or a set of subframe connectors are a better way to go.
BTW, do you ever see that V6 Z28 anymore? If you do, I'm sure a lot of us on the history board would appreciate it if you could get the vin and rpo codes for us (and a pic or two if you can). I've been trying to locate one for years, ever since I saw the V6 listed as available with the export Z. It'd be real nice to know if any were actually produced.

Please keep your eyes out for that Z. Even if it turns out to be a clone, it'd be helpful to know that that is what it was. And if it turns out to be the real deal, it'd be the first actual proof I've seen that any actually were built.
