Where would you mount gauges? A Pillar? Cowl?

Hi!

About to buy some gauges (water temp, fuel pressure, vac) and I am torn on where to locate them. The locations I am looking at are on the A Pillar with one of those pillar pods, or Possibly the cowl outside the car between the hood and the windshield - either behind the 4" cowl or off to the drivers side. I am open to other ideas, opinions wanted - If you have one of these set ups, please post pics!! Car pic included for reference..

My Car:

Idea 1 - A Pillar

Idea 2 - Cowl panel off to the side (I admit I dont know that theres enough space)

Idea 3 - In cowl - hardest, would require modifying the hood as there is currently a panel filling the cowl opening with holes drilled in it

mounted mine on the A-pillar. I'm not a fan of cowl mounting gauges unless the owner is really wanting to preserve the interior. Still finishing my interior in this car:

Id skip the vacuum gauge unless you feel that your application absolutely requires it.

my last car had two gauges mounted in a custom made pod that was mounted under the center A/C vents. I sold it a few years back but I didnt make another one for my current car but have decided not to install it. Im still undecided if I want to sell it. Let me try and find pics of it.
