Need your Opinion

Hey

I have a 90 RS that I want to paint black. I want to paint the vents on an IROC hood white, the little spaces around the lights white, and put white pinstripes on it. Do you guys think it will look good? Has anyone ever done it before? If so, please post pics. Thanks

Remember opinions come good and bad. So my opinion is it will look bad. I think it'll be too much white contrast. But again, its my opinion and your car, do what YOU want.

Personally, I like solid colors. It's clean. Graphics can be alright if done with taste but all too often a car that's accented doesn't come out well. Think about the lines you want to accent. It's probably best not to accent inserts. Just my opinion.

I don't think it will look good either. Have it Photoshopped 1st.

i like the idea. give the car look.
i agree get a photo photoshopped and do it on paper first, one of the benifits of the computer age.

Before I painted my hood stripes on the first time, I painted a set of louvers white to see how they looked, and test fitted them on the car. I was trying to figure out whether I wanted white or black louvers. On a solid blue car the white louvers looked like crap, but I knew that once the stripes were done they'd look great white, while I knew that black ones would look funky. My point is, I don't think that white louvers on a hood by themselves would look good. There is too much contrast. But its your car, and you can easily repaint them black if you don't like it.
