Coil installation help

I'm doing an Ls swap in my '90 iroc and installed tubular k-member and A arms. I didn't have a coil compression tool so just used a jack to install some new eibach sport line coils. when I installed the springs I lined them up as well as I could to the stops on the bottom perch but both are about a quarter inch away. Will that affect the height or will they settle when I drive next? Thanks for any info

Re: Coil installation help

I'm not exactly sure what you're describing but they should settle in after a few bumps. I have a UMI K member and mine were similar.
