Couple of Camaro tail light restoration questions

I have disassembled my grid tail lights for restoration.

Does anyone know where to get replacements for those push rivets that hold the lens onto the housing? Does anyone know where I can get the replacement rubber weatherstripping that runs down the top side and around the top corner?

When putting them back together do you guys put a bead of clear silicone where the lease meets the housing?

Can you guys recommend a paint for the inner housing (the reflective part) and what black paint should I use for the grids and the outter housings, a gloss black? I plan on clearing them.

Any other tips/suggestions welcome.

This would be a perfect chance to take some pics and show us all what you do. ....I've polished mine to restore them every now and then but never disassembled them. I'd love to see the process documented, as I might try it in the future.

....sorry I could offer any real helpful advice!

We sanded with 1000 grit, used a gloss black to paint the grid lines between the reflector sections and then cleared and buffed them..
