So I send a message asking for pics of the underside and here is the response I get.....
"sorry i do not have access to take underside pics..underside is solid with surface rust on here and there..i do not buy any cars with rust issues"

Then I send this...
and I dont buy any cars unless I see pics of underside....
need pics to bid properly - someone like you should understand that

Here is what I get back...
"thank you for your interest,and i understand everything,good luck in your search,i am sorry i cannot customer service you to your satisfaction..."

So I send this...
No worries, will spread the word on the forums - Good luck

and I get this back...
"spread the word about what?? that you didnt get what you wanted??? lol...i even apologized about not being able to customer service you,and thats the response you send me...threatening me and my business???"

How does this place stay in business ??? UNREAL IMO, this speaks volumes about their business ethics

 

Typical car sales... Probably doesn’t know what’s under there and doesn’t want to find out because then he’d have to lie about it...

Used car salesmen I knew seemed like they’d purposely “not know” things about cars... It sometimes works to their advantage to be ignorant...

Perfect example on why to steer clear of buying from them.....IMO, buying from private party sellers is the way to go.....especially guys on this forum!

I wont ever do business with them, no matter what car they are selling....I'm done with them.

 

Just begging for them to hoist them wrong and mangle the pinch welds.

 

Very risky to buy cars from Illinois. When somebody here says no rust it just means no big holes yet.

It depends... there’s a lot of V8 RWD cars that were garage kept and never driven in winter up north.

A lot of people had winter beaters...

I’ve heard people down south complain all the cars have 200k and are beat to hell...

 

Of course there are always exceptions. Growing up in VT with family that owned/operated a junkyard and auto service shop I saw tons of "muscle cars" from the 60's through the early 80's with rotted out fenders, wheel wells and high visibility floorboards which allowed you to see the road from inside the car. Before I moved out here I looked around for a third gen in VT/NH/ME but everything I found reasonably priced was a rust bucket.

 

I have bought more than a few items from China through ebay.
The messages you received back sound exactly like the ones I get when communicating with some sellers.
The people responding have always been nice and very polite. But they are very serious about their money and business.
NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE HERE. Most often the English translation is to blame. They are probably doing their best.
There is no way I ever could read or speak a Chinese language.

 

Yeah, there may be more garage queens up North, but all the daily drivers are rust buckets... In the South they at least make it to 200k!
