WD-40 to Removing Water Stains?

Well, we have have some in the garage, and all have some sort of water stains on glass going on. Ran across this on the web. if anyone tries it, let us know how well it works please!

Removing Water Stains

Have you ever wondered how something that’s designed for washing can become so dirty? Cleaning water stains off the shower door, walls, and floor can be extremely frustrating and tedious. Not only does the chore require time, but it also demands its fair share of elbow grease. Luckily, WD-40 can be used as a solution. Simply spray down the affected areas at the end of your typical cleaning session. You’ll soon notice that the water stains magically disappear!

I use 0000 steel wool to clean my glass. It doesn't scratch and with a little bit of cleaner it works like a charm.

+1 for 000 gauge steel wool on glass, EXCEPT mirrors. Do not use it on mirrors.

WD-40 has many handy uses. My favorite one in particular is how nicely it dissolves stubborn adhesives with a little soak time and a wee bit of elbow grease.
+1 here also for using very fine steel wool on glass, but I use it with a warm soapy water mix, and a gentle touch.

I have some water spots on my TPI intake and runners. I might give it a try!
