goo gone and a rubber wheel on a drill is how I always did my modern cars never used this method on classics tho

The wheel would certainly work. As always, the method is only as good as the paint underneath. For something that small though, I'd use a plastic razor blade. I get 'em from my sign shop, but they're cheap on Amazon or wherever. I find uses for 'em around the house all the time. Then of course goo gone to clean up the residue.
