I saw / read that. Something I need to do to my car for exactly the same reasons. I always help the wife into the car so I can close the passenger door, while holding the drip edge up so it doesn't get caught under the glass. More often, it's nice out, and I have her window cracked open or ll the way down before I back out of the garage.
