How would you clean a Carbon Fiber hood?
A friend of mine just got a new car, and the paint on the hood is kinda bad, the clearcoat is chipping off. Other than that, the paint is good, so we are thinking about just getting a Carbon Fiber hood instead of an all new paintjob(his car is black, so I figure it'll still look pretty good...). I was just wondering, how do you clean a carbon fiber hood? Is there some sort of coating on them that gives them that glossy shine? I was thinking that you'd just use the car wash/soap on the carbon fiber, and wax everything else. I'm thinking that with a carbon fiber hood and some zaino it ought look kickazz... What do you guys think?
