Don't do it. I've seen thirdgens with them, and I think they are too old school for our cars. We need a more modern, sleeker wheel, such as the Torque Thust II. Also, I'm pretty certain they don't come in anything larger than 15"

They come in 17 now and I think they would look good on a third gen. They resemble the tt2s I think.

the previous owner of my 84 put a set of 15 inch cragar street stars on, with some 245 goodyear wingfoots. they look ok, but i wouldn't run them, and i'm not. i'm going to be running a set of z28 15x7 5stars.

i've posted a pic to show what the cragars look like, this is what the car looks like now. i'm going to give the sidepipes back, as i don't want them.

i agree with lance, i don't think a set of the cragar ss wheels would look so well on the thirdgens.

I am thinking about getting some Cragar SST's on mine, 7 up front and 8 inch in the back. Does anyone have any pics of them on a 3rd gen?

I plan on restoring this car come summer. plans include painting the WHOLE car the base color seen (someone please verify that it actually IS medium grey metallic). I am also thinking about some Weld Pro Stars.

PS: this is my first time posting a pic of my trans am so be kind

See, now don't those resemble tt2s? I wouldn't notice a difference at a glance.

I think the Cragers look awesome on SC's and Firebirds. But I dont think they look 'at home' on a car with ground effects. I also think ADV1's Camaro looks sweet with them. I may consider those wheels on my Firebird sometime down the road.

Hmm, perhaps if they were Cragers that post would make sense... any excuse to post pics of your ******* chameleon Trans Am right?

Need to get that car out of view, like hidden in a paint booth, drying. Or do you have some more stuff planned for it, first?

I'd like to get my Ram Air hood before I paint the car.
Here is a photoshopped hood on my car I did 4 months after I got her,
