THEFT I need more protection JUST IN CASE

Hey I can happen

I dont really live in a bad crime city, West Island,Montreal, Quebec, Canada but i still feel that i've put too much blood, sweat
and money in my pride and joy too have it taking away by thieves looking for a joy ride or parts

I currently have these on the car

Clifford Viper Alarm = Works and is loud as hell save my car twice !
Sum **** *** kids trying to get inside 1 night, called the cops and never saw them again, guess Juvi is not a short stay vacation

Original GM alarm....

Hood pins with locks same color as car

And 1 club from steering 2 brake pedal

What kind of protection do you people have? Did anybody get their bayby stolen? How traumatic was it? Man i've own this car for 8 years now and i know i would be mad as hell, and then ball my eye out!

Are you worried about the car being stolen or something stolen out of it?

I believe they make switches that disconnect your battery. You could simply place that in an odd location... you won't have a problem.

when i go to toronto i always flip the switch i installed between the neutral safety switch. that along with the v.a.t.s and my viper alarm keeps my car right where i parked it.
[did u know that a theft can pop the locks on a club steering wheel lock by spraying freeon on it..or just make a quick cut thru the steering wheel with a hacksaw blade and slide the club right off]

My plan to keep my car in one place is the following:

You know the pods where the switches are on both sides of the steering wheel? Those black things that stick out?

Well on the right side im gonna get a factory switch put in at the dealer thats labeled something like "Light Dimmer" or some stupid **** like that. But it will be an on/off switch at the Ignition Module that way you have to press it up to be able to crank the car, and some dumbass punk kid would never know why the car won't start.

Also, louvers in the back are good for two reasons: Keeping sun out and keeping stuff unvisible.

Also, alarms dont do much nowadays...Look at how many car alarms go off everywhere you go, yet no one does anything to check it out.

The best theft system is to have receipts for everything you have added to your car. If something gets stolen, or if you car gets stolen, just show the insuranceman the receipt and they will replace it. For instance,

A buddy had a 67 Firebird that originally had a V6, i believe. But he put a 455 in it. The car got stolen, and was never recovered. The insurance company paid for the car plus all the money for the 455 parts he bought cause he had receipts.

Its good to have coverage

A fuel pump cut out switch works great. I also have a club that goes from my brake petal to my auto shifter (so they can't get it out of park) on my automatic and from my clutch to my steering wheel (can't start it without pushing down the clutch) on my manual.
