has anyone put a new shifter in or just the knob?
well you can just swap the **** off your stock shifter with an aftermarket one if all you're after is appearance, but the Ripper will give you shorter shift throws and is supposedly more precise than the stock shifter.
I've got a B&M Mega shifter. It's ok and it looks nice, but it was a bitch to get installed and adjusted. Although I don't like the looks of the ripper shifter, I hear that it's a much better shifter than the mega shifter, so I'd go for it. Just plan on spending some time getting the adjustment dialed in. It'll be worth it especially if you have a shift kit.
