I just noticed this.. well a week ago or so (but I'm sure you've known all along ). I'm curious if others have noticed this also. But I just thought maybe someone had some insight as to why they swapped their designs. Look at thirdgen Camaros... where are their foglights?... located inner near the license plate. Look at thirdgen Firebirds... where are their foglights?... located way more outer. But now look at todays Camaros... where are the foglights?... located way more outer. Also look at todays Firebirds... where are the foglights?... located inner near the license plate.

The Camaro and Firebird totally swapped foglight positions, ever notice that?

score....we have someone who is bored off their ***.....had to go ut and compare 3rd gen and 4th gen Fbodies to each other.....lol i want that kind of time.......

 

This also happened with the earlier generations. Look at the headlights on late secondgen firebirds, and then thirdgen Camaros. Notice any similarity? Also until the thirdgen Firebirds, the only fbodys to get hidden headlamps were firstgen Camaro RS'.

 

on the bird it depends on whether it's a formula or a trans am.
