I realize I fail to post here as much as Facebook, so here's a little effort..
Took some time this fall to get under my 89 GTA and clean the underbody, but before that, I decided to swap out the Magnaflow tips from my Magnaflow catback, to some stainless factory style turn downs:
Once I was done with that, I decided it was a good time to drop the trans pan, as I have no idea when the fluid was last done. While I was here I did the diff fluid as well and put in an extra capacity pan with a drain plug, so fluid swaps in the future will be a breeze.
While the car was in the air I decided to get to scrubbing. I have paint corrected this car in the past, but it really needed a good underbody scrubbing to meet my standards for the cars I keep:
All in all, I think it turned out pretty good. I'm getting the Magnaflow dual cat y-pipe this Spring, since this is a dual cat car, it will look right at home. While I'm under there installing I'm going to do some more scrubbing, but as of now this car is just about to where I'd like it.
Oh.. and right before I put the car away I sold the Hawk's 17" wheels to put on the factory 16" wheels that I spent a couple of weekends cleaning up and getting as nice as possible. I think these cars just look so proper at factory ride height with the 16's, over the 17's.
