I bought this stuff for my '23 which was professionally paint corrected and ceramic coated when I bought it last year. The detailer said to wash it with dawn and use a topper like this every few washes or if it's really dirty. It's my daily and lives outside so definitely gets pretty filthy. I washed it this morning and was very happy with the results so I decided to try it on my '87 which has just had a few quick washes with cheap car soap the past few years. What a difference, it's actually got some gloss to it now. Obviously I need to clay it and maybe hit it with the buffer and apply a good wax, but really surprised what dish soap and some orange spray did for it.
I use this as a drying aid on all my cars, every wash. Great product. I'm a recovering detail addict, and I'll be the first to say that there ARE other games in town, and I try not to get too deep into the battle of the brands discussions etc. etc., except to say that ANY of them are better than nothing. Beadmaker was one of the names to get real popular for whatever reason, and with any kind of success, it's got it's fair share of haters too. If you don't use any kind of drying aid or topcoat, I suggest giving Beadmaker a try. P&S also makes a nice interior cleaner. Not a detailer, but a cleaner. It's worth a look.
