How to Remove paint from Bumper?

I have removed about 70% of the paint from my front bumper cover using a razor blade, but can't get the edges and corners. How the heck is that done? I am refinishing one that I took off a '91 Z that I used to have and going to put it on my '86 IROC.

P.S. the inside of my bumper cover is stamped "Made for the Colonel's in the Good Ol' U S of A." Cool, huh, What brand is that?

I removed all the paint on mine with a heat gun and a putty knife. Heat up an area for a few seconds and use the putty knife to get under the paint. It should just lift off in big pieces. This takes a far amount of time to remove all the paint, it took me 10 hours or so.

Yea, I've already put about 4 or 5 hours into what I have gotten removed already. Thanks for the tip, I'll give the heat gun thing a try. I'm wondering if anyone uses any sort of chemical remover?

I think a chemical remover would eat-up the urethane bumper material.

Yea, I'm gonna use primer, don't know what kind yet, though. Anyone know if it has to be something special, or do you just add a flex additive? I discovered that about 80% of the bumper was primered, and let me tell you, that 80% with the primer is about fifty times harder to remove that that paint without primer. The part without primer just flakes off, but the rest sticks tighter than a fat man in a little coat.

SEM makes a flexable parts stripper that is designed for using on urethane. Get it at your local automotive paint supplier. SEM makes all kinds of great products.
