found a set at the junkyard. i already have a perfectly good set of glass ones on the car that will be staying on there. but i figured the lexans would be good to have for occasions i want to drop some weight in the car.
guy wanted $100 each. i gasped "what, there plastic, and not even in good shape" he says "ok, $100 for both"
this still seems high for 30 lbs savings. what would pay for em?

 

It would depend on how they looked, my Lexan tops have a few scratches etc. Any pictures??

 

no i dont have any way of getting a pic. but they're not in very good shape cosmetically. they still latch to the car fine, but i held them up the the sun and could just make out a faded round blur. so there not something i would have on at a carshow or anything. im just thinking towards weight savings.

 

You can find a better deal on ebay. I picked up a set of glass ones in real nice shape with storage bag for $50. Don't pay more than that for plastic ones. I have a set, but i wouldn't sell them to my worst enemy.

yeah i was thinking $50 at the most aswell. but the guy at the junkyard wanted nothing to do with that. so oh well, not like i really needed them yet. but i'll keep my eyes open.
