Por-15 before and after--not modem friendly
Heres some pictures of before and after on my fender wells. The sparkles or the small dots are reflections of light. Probably caused by the flash. It's not perfect, and some sanding/scrubbing probably could have helped it look much better. But I was mainly going for the uniform finish/color more so than the smooth shiny look.

Lastly, here's one for those who remember the van that hit me. I cleaned up most the white paint, but heres where he took the paint off my car. Theres a hole just left of it, but overall not horrible.

heh, you posted between... I've been fighting with this server with it's 30 second between and errors I've made. Each posts have been edited.
Black was what I was hoping
Just got tired of when it was dark, if the lights hit it... it look like I went through mud and such. Looked horrible, so I'm coating them up. Hopefully it'll last. BTW, I still have three to go... that little paint brush isn't the quickest way.
Anyways, painted hopefully within the next month. The cowl will be on as well. Then hopefully nitrous and I'll be ready for the camaro gather in april

It does look much better. I think I'm going to do my wheel wells as well as my underbody this spring. I'm fortunate to have no rust in either spot yet even with almost 84,000 on the clock, so I figure I should seal it up now. When you repaint, you're going with black, right? I hope so, cause you have a beautiful car.
Is that a WS6 in the background IONSZ28 ?! hehehe.
car's looking NICE man. I have a 92 Z too, i talk to you on icq sometimes. well I wish mine was black
black when it's clean looks SOOO good, instead I have this Polo green metallic... i dunno, not a big fan of the green myself.
looks sweet though! i'm going to order that por15 this weekend

Bawls, there's a few people that carry, but I did order it online. Just goto www.google.com and do a search for Por-15. The place I bought it from (can't remember) said it was black, but all I could find on Por-15 website is a semi-black and gloss black. I assume I got the semi-black which is what I wanted.
MetalliCamaroRS, Yes, black again. The rear quater panel has a few small crakcs under the clear, so they get to repaint the rear half of the car. It's under warrenty. So not too bad, I'll pay for the hood and bumper.
Camrs89, Brushed, it actually works pretty good. If I had the camera close enough with the right lighting, you could see bristles from the paint brush that came off. I guess the .99$ paint brush just doesn't hold up well against the fender wells. It does come out with a nice uniform finish considering it's brushed.
Garett92Z, hehe, it's actually an SS. Not sure if I've talked to you before online about it, it's my brothers. Heh, paint it black... mine used to be red. Everyone told me I would regret changing colors and it'll never look right. I've never had a complaint on my car. oh yea... don't get that stuff on your hand. I have 20 black freckles all across my arm and hand. I figured.... I have a brush, it won't land on me. It won't come off now.

Oh, lastly. I bought the smallest amount I could find. I actually bought it to do my subframe connectors after I get them put on, but I decided to do this as well. After doing one fender well, I can't even tell that I used any of it. I think a quart could doing 10 fender wells. Then again, maybe I need to go over it with another coat, not sure.

How much is it for the amount you purchased? Did you just go to the website or something? And one more question, did you remove the plastic front fender well guard thingys or just use it over it?? Thanks!

It costs me I think 33$ after shipping. I just went to a website and ordered. Nope, didn't remove anything. I did spray with simple green and scrub a little, but it didn't have a real big effect. I removed all large pieces of trash and tried to remove all excess abouts of rubber. Then just started coating. I figured if it can hold rust in, what's a piece of dirt.

Bimma86, I bought plain black. But it actually looks semi gloss black to me. The place where I bought it said black and gloss black. I bought the black. I figured the goal is to hide the fender well more so than show it off. If no one notices than no one can say it's ugly, and the rest of the car will shine.
PopaPork, Hit and run...I don't even know if he knows he hit me. He backed up and just left. While four people chased after him. He may have knew, might not have. Who knows.
