autometer guage cup idea...

ok since autometer is taking forever with the new triple guage pillar i was trying to think of other ways to mount my three guages. best idea i had was to get three guage cups and mount them upside down in that vast, unused portion of space under the dashpad on the camaros. the plan would be to try and run the wires under the dashpad. first off, it seems pretty simple so has anyone already done this? if so can you post pictures please?.. also, anyone think its a good idea or have a better idea?.. im open to suggestions.

thanks

What kind of gauge cups? You mean the ones with the sort of swivel bracket? Personally, I don't like seeing wires, so I generally dislike gauges installed in that area. When people do it right, though, it can look pretty good. I just think it's a long way to swing your eyes over to check while driving. I guess for guages that aren't checked often, who cares, right?

they're not guages i'd have to check real often. for now, they are more for show and tuning more than anything. air/fuel, fuel pressure and tranny temp. air/fuel cuz it looks kinda kewl (oh well, gay excuse), fuel pressure because of the afpr, and tranny temp because A)its an automatic and B) make sure the tranny cooler does its job.

i too am worried about the wires but i think i may be able to hide them fairly well, to where if they are seen, it will be very minimal and will still look clean.

thanks for the input, anyone else?..
