Maaco Paint job
I plan on getting a paint job soon this spring, and I heard I can get a Maaco Paint job real cheap. What is your advice about what type of paint job I should get from them and how much. I got the body work done already. I heard get something like double paint double clear coat.

Well, I've never gotten a paint job from them, but I would get their most expensive one and do all the prep work yourself, and get a couple coats of clear on it. Remember, if you only put $189 into a paintjob, you're going to get a paintjob thats only worth $189. You get what you pay for.

Maaco is a francise, so the quality can vary from shop to shop. I've had two done at one shop here ('79 Caprice, Camaro) and one at another (van). The former was fine, the latter terrible.
If you talk to them, you'll find that they'll admit that it's the paint where they're saving you money. Bodywork can be done, but they have about the same rates as independant shops. Since you've done your own prep work, they'll have you sign a disclaimer saying they are not responsible for the outcome of owner-prep areas, but that's just butt-covering. I talked to the estimater several times, he gave me tips on prep materials and methods, and it came out fine.
Just so you'll know, their "package" deals are using their paint colors. If you want to match factory paint, you're looking at their most expensive prices. But, I really like the color I chose, and have received nothing but positive comments about it. They did not recommend a top clear coat, by the way, but rather what they call an integrated clear coat additive. I got the 4-year warranty urethane package.
My 5.0 co-worker bud hates Maaco. I didn't tell him where I had it painted, and he was raving about the job when he first saw it (he just spent ~$4000 having his '89 convert painted).

I totally agree with five7. I have had a few paint jobs at maaco and it just depends on what kind of people are working there. The first maaco job I had was incredible, the second (different Maaco)sucked, and the third (my trans am, different Maaco) looks awesome. Its good that you did the body work because they usually suck at it.
