C5 wheels?

I have 2 1/4" spacers up front and 1 1/2" spacers in the back. Would I be able to run the thick spoke C5 wheels that are 17x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in back? I know everyone says to run 2" all the way around. Would it rub alot? Are all C5 rims the same offset? If not are there any other C5 wheels that would fit?

I looked at skulte's article and it says 2" spacers, but it also says to use 2" spacers for 16x8 4th gen wheels. I have had 4th gen 16x8's on my car for about 2 years with not one problem at all. My spacers are 2.25 front and 1.5 rear. Am I missing something here or wouldn't the C5 wheels fit fine. Please someone respond and back me up or set me straight.

I also looked on CamaroZ28.com and there are plenty of 4th gens using C5 wheels with no spacers.
