Pilot Exhaust Tips/Opinions
I'm trying to find tips that will somehow better fit with the line of my 85 IROC's bumper. I like fourth gen tips, but I'm not sure they would fit as well as I'd like. The tips below might fit more to my liking, but they've got a '*****' feel to them. Opinions?

what just because the are monza style tips they are rice?
apparently you didn't see the post a few months ago with those tips on a camaro, it looked very good, and very tastefull, so to the poster, if you like those tips, yes they look good on a camaro, i will go find the post with them in it, and post it here. and to everyone screaming rice, i usualy just skip over all the rice posts, but it is getting rediculous, i don't come to this board to read 800 replys about rice everyday, it is getting old. diffrent people have diffrent ideas for there car, support them in what they like, personaly some of the ******* ghetto crap you'all do to your cars makes me cringe but i don't say anything, so istead of filling a post of with nonsense post with one word in them, either post something supportive, or just plain tell him they aren't your style and you don't care for them, that way the rest of us here who aren't stuck on calling everything diffrent rice, doesn't have to read your crap.
my .02 for you guys today.

I agree with Dewey! Like I told my daughter yesterday, your car is yours to do with what YOU like, be an individual and do YOUR car the way YOU want to. I personally don't think they look bad, although I have not seen them on a Camaro or Firebird.
Just my input,
Mark

Dewey,
I'm afraid that I did ask, so I originated the 'rice' comments in this particular post. I ask for opinions, but probably like you and car-lovers in general, I do as I please where 'my' car is concerned, regardless of those opinions.
If you can find the pics you mention, I'd very much enjoy seeing them. It appears that the upward slant of the tips would snuggle in nicely to the bumper.

i have been looking for it, but i haven't found it yet, maybe it didn't get transfered over in the server change? hopefuly the person with them will see this and post pictures for us. but i by no means blamed you for all rice comments, people should be intelegent enough to come up with a better response than one or two words that by pure definition do not describe ANY F-body, BTW wouldn't something "*****" on a F-body be "wheat". i am just sick and tired of reading all these posts where someone with like 5 posts makes a big deal about something being rice.

Sorry about the rice stuff, I usually dont say things like that.
But they do look like they belong on an Import to me.
Just my opinion. And if someone wants to put them on their Camaro or Firebird, or whatever, then more power to them. I'm just saying I wouldnt put them on anything I owned.
Sorry,
Rick

Theres a black Ford Prove around here with those tips and a giant combat wing on it.
I think it looks ugly, but thats my opinion.

Just my opinion, but those would look a lot better if they weren't dual. I mean, if you had like one of those tips on either side of the car, that would probably look good. The one way you could justify calling that rice, though, is that it goes from a single small diameter to dual 3's and that just seems a little more show than go. But I'm just saying.

Hey, Dewey,
I appreciate your effort. Thanks.

Here's the bottom line: You wouldn't have bothered asking our opinion if you didn't like the tips in the first place. Since you like them, don't worry about what other people think. All that matters it you are satisfied with your car. Then next time you are curious about whether or not a specific part such as tips or wheels or steering wheels etc will look good on a Camaro, just ask for a pic. Just a word of advice. Don't let others disuade you from your preferences. Good luck with your car.
