When I went home this weekend my chrome exaust tips were looking rough, so I put some Turtle wax Chrome Polish on them. I didn't wipe it off though, thinking this would create a barrier of protection. Was this a good/bad/or doesn't matter idea.

 

Wouldn't recommend that. Instead, use a top notch polish. Zaino, liquid glass, your favorite -brand name here- wax.
