After much prolonging and many seen advertisements I reluctently drove to Wallyworld and purchased the Mothers Clay bar paint saving system. I knew for $14 it wasnt going to work but hell, I guess you gotta try sometimes right? It claims to make your paint smooth and remove contaminants, "trade secret of all professionals." My mothers car which is almost 10 years old and has been through Germanys salty roads during the winter and the south's periulous sunshine needed a good waxing. After a good washing I started on one section off the hood and just before, I felt the texture. It was pretty rough still, even after the suds bath. I applied the instant detailer and rubbed the clay bar over part of the hood and all I can say is WOW!! It went from being semi rough to having a glass like feel and that was before the wax. Im posting pictures of the car that were taken today but they dont do it justice. For the price I think its the best thing out there and Im stuck on Mothers. I do the faithful camaro tommorow and I will post pics of that project too. Only downfall to this system is the time it takes. But in my opinion, it is well worth it!

I love mothers. Their mag and wheel polish shined my wheels up soo nice. I never thought they would come clean. I tried lots of other products but mothers worked way better than others.
