Dont want to get screwed need help on body work!
What should i look for in a auto body shop to see if they are any good i am looking to spend 2000 to 2500 on the the work, which involves repainting car and minor body dings. Should i go to the Bert Adams pontiac dealer? but i am comletely lost on who is good and who is bad any ideas on what to look for or research? My car was repainted 3 to 4 years ago by the original owner and it is looking like ***!
Also i was considering 4 coats black( thats the original color) 4 coats clear sound good?
I just don't want to be redoing this in 2 years all over again!

I can spend more but i am 18 i have plenty in the bank but it first has to go through the MOMS signature first and 5g on a paint job she will not go for!
Plus i am already adding a 4th gen wing and hood. Who is the best to go through for these items? I was told the junk yard for the wing!

Sounds like you have a pretty good plan going, as for the wing and hood, go here http://www.geocities.com/gtautoacc/dirks.html .

On average a "decent" paint job will run $2500.00 or $3500.00 for a color change. Two coats of base and three coats of clear are adequate.
Black is the easiest color to match but the hardest to perfect. It's also the hardest to maintain. You should always use a soft polish cloth just for your car and keep it clean.
You need to ask to look at cars the shop has painted and talk to previous customers. If they have none to give you or none to show you then that should send up a red flag.
Ask them how they feel about shooting black (many shops hate to) and ask them if the price includes color sanding and buffing.
