Painting wheels

Does anyone know if you can paint the inside piece of the honeycomb wheels? I want to paint mine silver as apposed to spending 880 bucks for 4 new ones. Will the paint look ok and/or last?

I just got done reworking both sets of GTA wheels for my car. If you need to redo the clear coat as well as the centers I would use paint stripper on the whole wheel and then pressure wash it off. It will take about all the factory paint off in one shot. If the clear coat is good chances are the center paint is good also. In that case wash them good with a brush , degrease them , mask off the polished part and paint the center with a good wheel paint in several light coats spraying at different angles which will hit all the holes. If you hurry you will have a mess. GOOD LUCK.
