whats the widest tire i can fit underneath a 88 camaro in the rear and front? can you really fit 10'' tires in the back? i was thinking abouyt going with a 17x9 inch rim but i think i may just stay with a 15 and get wider rims...tires will be cheaper (i hope i cant justify 190$ a tire for a 17x9 when im just gonna burn two of them off) also i plan on possibly going with a 4th gen rear soon will that comprimise space? also i couldnt figure out where to post this and if theres a better place please feel free to move it :lala: there are alot of posts about rims here i figured i might be able to get a good answer here

 

There are a few guys with 17x9.5's all around (275/45/zr17's) so I'd say 275 is the widest for the front (9.5"). In the rear I remember one of the guys here ran 17x11 and I think 315's?? but he had to modify the fenders and fenderwells. I'd say the biggest non mod fit would be 10" wide with 295's. But i'm not sure
