you guys prolly wouldnt have caught this one. Im almost positive there is a thirdgen camaro in the begining of Dangerous Minds. Was watching it with my g/f this weekend and i caught a glimpse of a door in the first few scences that are like greyed out. Anyone care to contest that?

I just watched 'Alphabet City' again (the one with the 83 Daytona Pace Car). The TA is in every other scene. It's like a character in the movie (like Smokey & the Bandit). A must see - for the car scenes only.

In fact, the car has more presence than most of the actors...Actually, that's not fair (to the car). It has more presence than ALL of the actors...COMBINED!

It's on DVD. Pick up a copy, check out the car - and laugh at how stupid we all looked in the 80s.

Yes yes, this topic has been done to death. Personally the Red Trans Am Eric La Salle drove in Comming to America was one of my favorite thirdgens in movies. Got to love that soul glo, hehe.

i bet that almost al of the ones you see just sitting in lots and stuff in movies are probably just one of teh crew members cars

they need cars to fill spots, so they just set them there
would be kinda cool to get your car in a movie that way

i would almost garuntee the one in sinfield is that way
its still kool to see tehm in movies

and people need ot read the thread before they post where they saw a car in a movie, most of them get mentioned 5 or more times

Me too....that show ran from 81-88 and Jameson Parker's character, AJ, must have been a Camaro guy. I remember one episode that showed him back in college, and he was driving a blue 67 Camaro convertible.

That red 82 or 83 Z28 he drove was a targa top conversion.....most likely a t-top car with the bar cut out.

I used to watch Simon & Simon and Magnum P.I. on Thursday night just to see the Ferrarri 308 and the Camaro Z28!
