If I'm correct, I believe that is 90 Z28SS.

Which had an LT1 in it but he wrecked it. Good guy, haven't heard much out of him lately though.


I think that's his car, he had a white one with the SS always pictures taken in a garage like that.

Yup, that is Derek's (90 Z28SS) IROC. It was one of the finest around. Gorgeous car.

Yeah, that was my favorite white Camaro. It was so clean, I wish he hadn't totalled it. Anyone know what hes got now?

Now I building a street/drag 95 TA vert , but , I am looking for a clean rust free 3rd gen camaro body for a long term project ( like over 5 years ) for a street/roadrace car . I wanna do this one from the ground up rather than start with a already nice car ...mint third gens are getting expensive . The plan is a 91-92 appearing Z , stock LS1 ( think autoX ) , T56 . Either Sunset orange or the Viper steel blue color <---looks like dark gunmetal and 17x9.5" black ice ZS's .

WHat happened? I got smacked by a semi truck the same way, but it wasn't as bad as your poor camaro.

It wasn't fixable?? That Camaro was way nicer than the 4th Gen.

I would have at the very least needed a rear clip , under the car was spaghetti . Frame rail on the pass side was pushed into the gas tank and the suspension mounts for the rear were just not there anymore

Ive decided to return the TA to stock and use it for a driver , I WILL have a new third gen for next year . This thread has got me back in the third gen spririt BIG TIME

Wow! That white car was SWEET! I like the red 89ish convt with the SS hood. Always wondered what my 89RSconvrtZZ4TPI would look like, now I know! Plus one day when I put the LT1 intake on I could make the hood functional!

I ran skinnies on the front and ET streets all the time . It was more or less maily a strip car .
