Picture of a powder coated TPI
Here are some powdercoated runners and plenum and TB.
( these were done befor I got my stuff to do coatings)
I just Ordered the HOT COAT Powder Coating Gun kit with the following colors
Almost Chrome base
Argent Silver Base
Anodize Blue
Bright Red
Mirror Black
Satin Clear
and the Prism Effects
a Gun Rebuild Kit w/ extra deflectors
6 Extra Bottles
Hi Temp Silicon Plugs
Hi Temp FIberglass Tape
ANYWAYS, Im gona try and do everything in the ALMOST CHROME BASE and see how it compairs to the SILVER it is now. or maybe even do the Base in the BLUE.

I just had my TPI and valve covers powercoated "transparent blue." It is a medium-dark blue over a silver base coat. Everything came out absolutely beautiful. I had taken everything down to 400 grit except for the plenum, which I sanded down to 600. It sure looks nice.

TPI it won't take you much practice the powdercoat process is virtually flawless. Make sure you cure the satin clear at a much lower temp it will scorch and turn gold easily and the argent silver and almost chromes must have a clear coat over them to resist finger prints.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to getting everything and doing stuff for the 3rdGen world of people if they wish.
