BTW, if anyone would want stuff done. pullies,runners,etc... Give me a few weeks to practice on a buch of spair crap i have 1st then shoot me some e-mail at tpi383@svol.net

Id be willing to do some cheap work to get some nice looking parts on fellow 3rdGeners rides.

I just had my TPI and valve covers powercoated "transparent blue." It is a medium-dark blue over a silver base coat. Everything came out absolutely beautiful. I had taken everything down to 400 grit except for the plenum, which I sanded down to 600. It sure looks nice.

TPI it won't take you much practice the powdercoat process is virtually flawless. Make sure you cure the satin clear at a much lower temp it will scorch and turn gold easily and the argent silver and almost chromes must have a clear coat over them to resist finger prints.

Ya i went and talked to a local shop that does powder, ceramic, thermal, polishing and chrome work. and he said the hot coat kit works great. He said the same things you did also.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to getting everything and doing stuff for the 3rdGen world of people if they wish.
