Chose between two rims

Hey everyone.
I have two sets of rims i could put on my 84 trans am, and i'm torn between which two to put on. One of them is an aftermarket american racing rim with 215/65R15 tires. The other is the pontiac rims with 245/50R16. The pontiac rims are a little wider. Which ones do you guys think looks better?
I threw up a quick website with pictures of both.

Thanks guys
aaron

I don't like either of the, but that's just my opinion. If I HAD to choose, I'd pick the Pontiac ones. I agree that the American Racing rims look White Trashy....

Ever thought of GTA Mesh wheels? If you're looking for something that's cheap and isn't too extreme, you might want to check those out. I think they'd look great on your car.

Definitley the Pontiac wheels. The AR's look llike crap. If you want something different but even cheaper than GTA wheels go with a set of Formula rims, you can get em' for about $200 if you look around. That's what I'd do. I got GTA rims but found them off a wrecked car with brand new BFG's on already. got em for $250 for all.

I would go with the pontiac rims only because of the tire size. THink the 245's would handle alot better.

Stay with the Pontiac rims. Polish the faces and they'll look pretty good.

If you still have the stock lugnuts that go with those wheels, get the little black covers so you can't see the lugs. It looks pretty good that way. GM still uses them on their trucks, so the should be easy to get. Heck, I think I still have mine somewhere.......

Thanks to everyone who gave an opinion on which one was better. But, i could have lived without the people who said neither was better, but some people are just like that.
I'm thinking i'll put the AR rims back on for the next week or two, until i can get the pontiac rims polished and wrapped in some new rubber. Thanks

Really neither of those rims are very nice and don't look too good on the car. Go for some 16" Formula WS6 rims or 15" Hi Tech Turbo rims which are almost the same, IMO.

i would say go with the american racing rims and add 255/60R15 rear tires and 235/60R15 up front. however, either way i am sure the car will look good.
