I was just wondering did they ever make a IROC, Z or RS with out the exterior door molding strip from any year? Some please help me here!

you mean like the bumper guard that goes across halfway down the door? Mine doesnt have it.

I am referring to the strip that runs down(horizontally) the length of the door. it almost acts like a door dent protector.

yea u can order them from the GM dealers and there i think $107 for a side i think but i could be wrong but i know there $107 and i think they come in anycolor.

to the best of my knowledge NO. Sometimes people take them off when they paint the car and dont put them back on. I think the car dosent look as go without them.

The earlier 3rd gens had smaller mouldings. I think the larger ones look best. Just my 0.02 cents.
