I've only seen one set of clears that look good on any car and that's the new Lightnings.

I saw one guy at a show who made his. He went to the junkyard and bought some sets and cut the clear section out of them. He put then all together and made clear Camaro lens. I have some shots somewhere. Have to scan them in.

Anybody taken the red sections and made the lights red all the way across? I was wondering if anyone has done this because I am thinking about it and wondering any tips needed. Also looking at sequential lights for turn signals. Anyone?

Yup, UNFORGIVEN did them on two styles of taillights (the grid style and the older style)...I think they look real good actually, just check the history on the boards.

Wraith,
Isnt that supposed to have a triple foil wing on it too? It has the Altezzas and the coffe can exhaust. Should be good for at least 250 horse boost if it gives four bangers 150hp. Add a wing and you got a 750hp car.

Still looking for pics of Camaro taillights made all red.

I bet those clears would look better on a black/darker car...actually, I'm surprised they look as good as they do.

The ones I saw at the show were on a darker grey car. The ones in that shot were done better than the guys at the show. I don't think he was quite done with them yet.

In most cases I feel the clears look better on black, grey, silver, or white cars. They blend with the paint better.

As far as taillights go, either keep em stock, or add blackouts.

And as far as Hooker vs Flowmaster... no comment.

I'm putting my chop sticks back up now. I didn't mean to offend, just all in fun. I own a 92 Eclipse GSX myself. Rascist,.....no. I just feel that certain mods are deemed inappropriate on certain cars. My Camaro would never have them. But Eclipses are a breed that would wear them well. But to each his/her own. Your car is an extension of you. Let your personality fly free with what you like with your car.

You do have a point, but the comments are the same as they would get in real life, least this way it let's them decide if it's worth putting stuff on their car that people call rice.

i like them...........since most of you are narrow minded here and this post has been beaten to death over the past why do you see it a point to add your two cents if it's not constructive?

there are alot of things that you guys do to your cars that many people sit back and laugh so i guess i can't say much when it's your turn to show dislike....

i think if it's done right, they would look nice; although i do think that the color of the car as well as how it is done would make the difference. i wouldn't mind having them though if they looked right.
