Buffing products I use

Here's the two 3m buffing compounds that I use with great results, on the left is the first compound I use with the thick wool buffing pad. On the right is the Perfect-It compound that I use with the foam buffing pad. These products produce great results.

This is the result of the 3M products and a lot of time and patience!

And one more, sorry it's not a thirdgen but, it's the only Camaro I had that was available.

I think I'm in love, I've always wanted a 1st Gen, looks awesome.
Where did you get that stuff, and does it have to be applied with a buffer?

I used the 3M perfect-it compound on another car a few months ago, and I did it by hand, (good workout by the way) and got great results,... of course its 10 times easier and faster with a buffer,...now I have to do it on my transam.

To get these results a buffer is a must. I do use the compounds by hand on smaller parts such as door jambs and inside nooks and crannys that are not accessible with the buffer. You can buy 3M products at most any paint and body shop supplier.

I bought that $20 2600RPM random orbital buffer at WalMart and tried it out today with 3M Swirl Mark remover. Well.. the swirl marks are still there

But the car still looks sweet from afar.
