Ok I ant to switch my stock spoiler to a high rise spoiler but the problem is the stock spoiler has the 3rd brake light in it so when i put the high rise on will i have to go to a junk yard and find a 3rd brake light that goes in the rear window??? or does anyone know if i can buy one online???im talking about the one that is inside the ack window not the kind tha sits outside the window, also if i use this break light how do i connect it??

 

dont bother... you dont need a 3rd break light, unless you think cops might harass you, but i find that unlikely.
85' and down dont have em.

 

I actually like the look of the 3rd brake light...

Mine isn't functioning, so I'm gonna have to open it up and find out why.. I'm hoping it's just burnt out bulbs, but it could be a fuse... I dunno..

Eitherway, they look nice when they light up.

My 3rd had broken pins where it plugs into the harness. Took me 3 weeks to get a new one - the part was discontinued.

 

im not posotive but i think they check for a third break light during inspection, i could be worng though anyway id fel safer with one on there ive found that if a cop pullsyou over in a car like a camaro they start checking for things that they wouldnt normally check for sayif some old guy got pulled over in his cadillac

 

I know in Jersey they check for it... My GTA failed for not havin one when I broke the origonal hatch, and had a temporary replacement one from a Camrao. All cars 86-up must have one.
