I'd say take a clay bar to it, then Meguiar's Step 1 Cleaner Wax. Gets nice results.

HAD SWIRL MARKS

Some wax brands have abrasives in them which cause the swirl marks in your clear coat. Thats why I like mothers its clean doesnt break my bank and doesnt leave swirl marks.

I thought you needed a slight abrasive to remove swirl marks?

Let me see if I can try to clear a few things up. True swirl marks are caused by buffing the paint with an abrasive "cleaner," such as rubbing compound, used to help remove scratches, water stains, etc. To remove these swirls, polish or a specific "swirl remover" can be used to restore the paint to a nice, smooth shine. Once this is done, the car would be given a coat or two of wax to protect the finish from the elements. Note that polish and wax are not the same thing; polish removes small imperfections and "shines" the paint, while wax protects it. That's why on older/imperfect paint, the only way to get the best results is to follow the 4 steps: wash, clean, polish, wax. Just don't use paint cleaning or polishing products more often than is reasonable, since they do remove paint (if only a tiny amount) in order to do their job.

Not a pro here, just speaking from some experience.

Another thing: when waxing, I suggest using a real carnauba wax (pure wax), not the cleaner/waxes which do have abrasives in them as someone above stated. Take the time to do a good job, and you should be really happy with the results.

Thanks for the tip, I don't use the cleaner wax that often, but I haven't noticed any paint coming off on the clothes when I do use it, so does that mean it's been safe on the paint so far?

I bought that $20 2600RPM random orbital buffer at WalMart and tried it out today with 3M Swirl Mark remover. Well.. the swirl marks are still there

Do you recomend a certain product? Should I Put it on with my Buffer?

Thanks
