Howdy my name is Josh and I''m new here cuz I just got a 1983 Z28 for $375 needs a motor and interior/exterior restoration and I'm almost 17 but anyways, I just wanted to know is there anyone that remanufactures interior plastic panels for third gens cuz I cant find any and its driving me crazy can ya help?? I'm about to start goin to junkyards.

hey welcome to the boards..try classicindustries.com they're a wee bit pricey but man the stuff they got. you can order their catalog too of all camaro stuff from 1967-2002.

oh yeah, and if that's an 82, you best be putting in a big block carbureted with a straight pipe cuz then you can get kick *** sound and performance and not hafta worry about emissions hopefully

He doesn't have a huge selection, but he's great to work with. I got all the plastic interior panels...and in the original doeskin color.

 

Ebay is a good source for these things. I've pieced together almost an entire interior for my car there lately. The only thing left is a set of gray door panels and a gray cover for the hatch center (covering the pull down motor etc).

What color plastic are u looking for? I've got (almost) an entire set of grey from an 87 Iroc. Only problem is the back side panels are too big to ship. The UPS by me won't take a box big enough to fit'em. Otherwise, I've got the kicks, lower rears, armrests, etc. I even have those black underdash pieces. How's $1000 sound? JUST KIDDING!!!!! I'm reasonable. Anyone interested, float me an email.

 

i would jsut hit up the junk yards, id look for 3rd or 4th gen interior parts... then if you get some plastic piece thatdoesnt match you can always paint them... paint them not meaning doing some ***** thing, but paint it black or grey or whatever it is...

my car has fresh paint on it... silver! so i painted the mini vents in the dash silver (one flew out the other day and then i painted the T Top handels and the little round ring around the map light... im thinking about painting the trim around the vents soon... i dunno tho...

but yeah id do the junk yards or just go to your chevy dealer and see if it cost tooo much for them...

im 17 also.. i almost bought this 86 camaro that needed body and int, the motor was brand new but a v6... then we seen this trans am i have i have now for about 400 dollars more.. im so happy i waited this car is mint! the lady didnt know what she had
