Not Sure but need some Help
well today i was cruzing down the road with the windows down... it was a bit windy and the little things on my dash... its the vent on the drivers and pass. side... (little vents that are directioned to the side windows)... well the vent went flying out the window! looks like crap now over there... so i was wondering do all thirdgen's have the same dash.. can i get the vent from any thirdgen or is it just a certain year for the TA/Firebirds? I'd like ot know b/c my brother~N~law is goin to a Bone Yard this weekend and im gonna have him pick me one up... and i dont know if they will have a certain year or what not....

One day I was at the car wash, vacuuming my car out and I sucked one of those little vents into the vacuum.
Anyway, I think they are all the same (at least the ones on my 86 and 89 are) All the ones I've seen have been the same

I'm pretty sure they're the same. The ones in my 89 are the same as the ones that were in my 92.

I'm 99% sure that Camaro's and Firebirds have different mini-vents, but each car's vents are probably the same between '82-92.

I sort of agree with 83tranzam. The vents in my 84 Camaro were different than those in my 87 TA. I'd look first for the same body style (Camaro vs. Firebird). I would expect that there were some changes over the years, since the interiors were not always exactly the same either.

yeah... I think i might just see how much the local pontiac dealer wants for them... if its a few bucks im going to go ahead and order them... i dunno when my brother in law is going to the junk yard now.. and i cant stand looking at that HOLE in my dash it looks so terrible....
It really doesnt matter what color it is either b/c i painted those mini vents a silver to match the exterior color!
