Iroc Hood, cost

Okay, i have a chance to get a used iroc hood w/louvers for 160$ plus shipping, no struts or hinges jus the hood and louvers, I left my estimate sheet for this stuff from GM at work so i'm not sure how much a new GM one would cost me, so is it worth it?
Thanks
Justin
P.S. yes i realize this is a somewhat stupid question.

I got mine for $75, and the guy delivered it to my house in his truck, he only lived like 20 miles away.

A 86 Iroc hood is GM Part # 10166740 and retails for $700.00 and is still available. As you might expect it doesn't come with squat except the hood.

thanks for the posts everyone, i decided not to get it. The guy was kind of rude and abrupt so i decided it wasnt worth the cost of shipping and having to deal with all the hassle, thanks again

Try to get a used hood in good shape. You'll save hundreds of dollars. I work for a Chevy dealership in the parts department, and even at wholesale cost, that hood without the louvres still costs around $500! And factor in the paintjob, louvres, struts, hinges, and the hood insulator, and you're looking at $800-900. That's just way too much money.
