Hood question

What hood is this and what years did come stock?

I have an 89 T/A, Gunmetal Grey, with this hood but have seen few if any pics of 89's with this hood.

i believe those came on formula firebirds. im not sure if the came on T/As. im more of a camaro guy.

that is defiantly a formula hood, someone had to put that on your T/A, cuase they don't come stock on T/A...

... The Formula debuted in 1987 and is still produced in 2002...FYI...

Got it...

Just another one of the mismatched T/A's on the road. Actually, I'm kinda partial to that hood anyway.

Engine: Stock carbed 305

Transmission: Stock 200C

82-84 or 85 They were on the Trans Am....they were functional cowl induction hoods on the CFI engines. Then later in 87 the hood was brought back but on the Formulas and were non functional.

Transmission: 700R4, M5

Axle/Gears: Sag 3.73, B&W 3.45

To clarify:
According to the parts book the hood is the same for 82-84 T/A and the 87-92 Formula's.

The hood pictured there I can only assume that its from a Formula, the year is undetermined because the 5.0 Liter F.I. decals were used from 87 - 92. The T/A did not have these stickers, but some years they had different decals, most of which were on top if any on the buldge.
