i have access to a 81 firebird. it has good interior but i dont know if it will bolt right up. i searched the site and came up empty.. anyhelp?

 

I really doubt any of it will work. Maybe the seats. The 2nd gen to 3rd gen change was a lot bigger than the 3rd to 4th. Here is a pic of an '80 Z28 interior

They have a fairly different shape that will limit what you can swap. Plus they aren't hatchbacks, so nothing toward the rear will work. Good luck, anything is possible with enough work, time, and money.

 

yeah all i was gonna take was the seats,stearing wheel and maybe the shifter ****....but if it doesnt work,.,then its pointless. i was gonna get seats from a 4th gen, but hell if the price is right here, and they are in great shape,,,why not?? it be something a little diffearnt than others.

hey man you can do anything as long as your creative, but why the *** awful steering wheel????? my buddy has an 81 'maro w/ silver interior and i rag on him constantly about that ugly steering wheel, his car is beautiful, but that wheel, come on 30 bucks and you can have a grant!

 

iv never seen the steering wheel before in my life so i was just a thought that crossed my mind. im being told now that the tracks are differant on the seats, so all id have to do is swap the tracks and im good to go. well see what happens...i first need to see the seats.....and i also had a bad night and gotta fix another car, look for my other post about that story.
