You can find them at any local Autozone, Advanced Auto, CarQuest, O'Reily, or HiLo. They'll still be a bit on the expensive side...every place is about the same. It's their size and ability to hold up 100 pounds each that makes them expensive.
well it sounds like they are better then the GM OEM ones mine are junk on the hood and hatch and my car's only got 67K on it!! Thanks for the help here. I was looking thru Classic Industries Catalog but they do not have them, all they have are the hood ones which are diffrent then the rear hatch

Yea your local auto parts store will have them. I just picked a rear set up for $43 each.
Not too bad when you consider that once they are on the hatch wont slam on your head anymore

I get mine at Pep Boys. Just make sure they have a Lifetime Warranty and save the receipt. I still have the receipt for hy hood struts and they still work 8 years after installation. If you have a rear hatch defroster grid, the Pep Boys struts have a different way they attach the terminal. The terminal was a little loose. I didn't feel it would make good contact vs. the GM welded-on style. I removed the screw ans added a star washer and it is nice and tight now.
Any of the thirdgen parts suppliers in the banners at the top of the page should be able to source them. I paid about $55 each, which is better than $80 each in the UK. Did have to pay extra shipping and duty though.

just insure you get the right ones. i bought 2 and only one fit on there right. it was the right part number and everything but the part that screwed on the body of the car did not fit right.

.....oh and it doesn't matter how many miles your car has (mine had 28,500) the things can just go with age.
