Can I use a 5 speed shifter plate on my auto console???

Can I use a 5 speed shifter plate on my auto console???

I just want the look,will it fit??any mods required anyone who has done this picks????

It will if you get rid of that slushbox

Seriously though, you might run into clearance problems, but you might as well give it a try, it only takes about 5 minutes to swap them out.

Yes the swap is possible, you just need to get a top piece from a 5 speed for the console to swap and your set.

I have seen a few people do this on the site. I would personally just get a manual

It rubs a little on the gear selector switch, you might have to shave some of it down.

I did it to mine becouse the POS auto shifter I have is not in the stock position. I will be keeping the manual for my Hurst Quarterstick as well to keep it as stock looking as possible.

Nah, haven't had time to touch it yet. Working too much. Bought parts though.

yeah i did it for fun i was bored and it did rub but you could trim it to fit heres a pic
